KILTIE COLLARS™

We make Kiltie Collars™ for all breeds and sizes of dogs. Our Standard Collars page may be reached by clicking on the collar pictured at the left or by clicking on the Saltire Blue button at the top of this page.

We also make Kiltie SIGHTHOUND Collars for members of those breeds

And for Really BIG guys we make really big collars which we call our SAINT collars.

KILTIE LEADS and LEAD and COLLAR SETS™

Our Leads are available individually and as sets with a collar. They are available in any of the over 460 different tartans we carry in Los Angeles.

KILTIE KERCHIEFS™

Our Kiltie Kerchiefs™ are made from the same beautifully woven tartans which are used in all of our products. All imported from the finest mills in Scotland and carried in our Los Angeles stocks. These can be seen by clicking on the button labeled TARTANS at the top of this page

KILTIE Y's™

Our Kiltie Y's© were developed at a customer request to enable her to walk her three Westies using a single lead. We DO NOT suggest them for large breeds! We make them for two or three dogs. They are very smart and are chosen to match the tartan on the lead or to allow each dog to have a separate tartan. They clip on to each dogs collar

KILTIE HARNESSES™

Kiltie Harnesses© were in development for five years. There's no new development in them but we had to make several dozen prototypes to resolve our manufacturing difficulties. They are made from tartan and they are available in short order. They are adjustable to fit your dog and in effect are custom made!

KILTIE KOATS™

Style! That's one of the things that befits the wearer, and owner of a Kiltie Koat©. Comfort! Our Kiltie Koats™ are made in a layered construction with a warm batting as the inner layer, and a smart patterned waterproof layer as the layer closest to the dog. Watch their walk when you let them show the tartan. Theirs, or yours!

KILTIE KILTS™

Can a dog wear a kilt? Absolutely! Should a dog wear a kilt? Positively! James I refers to West Highland White Terriers after he removed to London. How many people can trace their ancestry that far back? I swear the first time I put a kilt on my Scottie he swaggered the same way a piper does. And don't forget the wee tams. They love 'em! They come with a sporran and a wee tam for all sizes big and small.

 
 
All Kiltie Products©  are hand cut, hand fitted, and handcrafted by us in our shops in Los Angeles. We do our very best to offer a quality product, now available in over 460 different Tartans.

They are made from wool, as are all of our imported Scottish tartans. They do wear, and they will abrade when scratched, bitten, or dragged.

They may be washed with wool detergents in cold water, by hand, please, and hung out to dry.

These are fine woolens! If you wore a cashmere topcoat everyday for a year the cuffs will fray. We cannot prevent this. 

As all of our products are hand cut, hand fitted, and handcrafted there are slight variances in widths and lengths.  All of our collars and leads are cut on the bias to best show the beauty in the sett of the tartan. This plus the atrocious 43-47% duty charged by the US government add to the intrinsic worth of our products - unique in the world!

 Please remember;  there are no hard and fast rules regulating your dog's  wearing of  tartan. The tartan police are out there, in some places, more than in others, but they dinna' mess wi' the wee ones! 

With respect to the Tartan Police, Angus' companions included  Bonnie,  MacGregor, and MacGilleaindreas, all of whom wore the Anderson and Royal Stewart tartans.
